How it works What the Remove Non-Latin Lines tool does

Removes lines written mostly in a non-Latin script (Cyrillic, Chinese, Arabic…) — useful for stripping foreign-language queries out of a keyword export. Accented letters such as é and ñ count as Latin.

Keyword exports for a broad topic often include queries in other scripts: Cyrillic, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi. This operation removes any line where most of the letters are not in the Latin alphabet, so you are left with the English (or other Latin-script) queries.

Accented Latin letters such as é, ñ and ü count as Latin, so French, Spanish and German keywords are kept. Lines with no letters at all, such as numbers, are kept too.
