Disavow File Generator
One formatting mistake and Google ignores your disavow file. Paste the spammy backlinks from Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush or Majestic: the Notepad reduces them to one domain: line per site, removes duplicates and adds a dated header — exactly the format the Disavow Links tool expects.

What do you want to do?
How to use the Disavow File Generator
- Export the links you want to disavow and paste the URL column (a list of domains works too).
- Pick domain level (safer — it covers every link from that site) or URL level, and Apply.
- Download as .txt and upload it in Google Search Console’s Disavow Links tool for the property.
What each option does
How to Create a Disavow File
Turns a list of backlink URLs or domains into a Google disavow file: one domain: line per site (or individual URLs), deduplicated and sorted, with a dated header.
Count URLs per Domain
Counts how many URLs belong to each domain, root domain or top-level folder — see which sites dominate a backlink export or which sections of a site a crawl covers.
Anchor Text Analyzer
Classifies a list of backlink anchor texts as brand, exact-match, partial-match, bare URL, generic (“click here”) or other, with the share of each — a quick over-optimisation check.
Questions
Should I disavow links at all?
Rarely. Google ignores most spam links on its own; disavow mainly when you have a manual action or know of a paid or manipulative link scheme. Disavowing good links can hurt.
Domain or URL level?
Domain level is usually right: spam sites tend to link from many pages, and a domain: line covers all of them, including pages you haven’t found.
Does uploading replace my old disavow file?
Yes — Google keeps only the latest file, so combine your old file with the new lines first (paste both, then Apply).
