Get every URL from the same site together, or every “…boots” keyword together, in one click.
The example below is already loaded, so you can see exactly what you get. Replace it with your own list and the result updates as you type.
Got a bigger job? The full Notepad runs the same engine on lists of any size — chain this with dedupe, sort and filter, undo any step, and save the whole routine as a recipe for next time.

Settings used: Sort by: Last word
Sorts URLs by their root domain (so each site’s URLs sit together) or keywords by their last word (so “running shoes”, “trail shoes” and “walking shoes” sit together).
Sorts by a part of each line instead of the whole line. “By domain” groups URLs from the same site together, whatever their paths. “By last word” groups keywords by the noun at the end, so all the “boots” keywords sit together and all the “shoes” keywords sit together.
Lines with the same key are then sorted alphabetically, and numbers inside the text sort naturally.
Yes. Sort by Domain or Last Word runs entirely in your browser, on this page and in the full Notepad, with no sign-up, no limits, and nothing sent to a server.
Lines without a domain are moved to the end.
Yes. URLs are grouped by root domain, so shop.example.co.uk and example.co.uk sort together.
Paste a list, click once, get it in A–Z order. No spreadsheet, no formulas, no upload.
Need it backwards? Get any list in Z–A order in one click.
Short lines are your head terms, long lines your long tail. Sort by length and the split is obvious at a glan…
Put your most specific long-tail phrases first — the ones that are easiest to rank for — in one click.
The Sort URLs by Domain tool is one of the free tools inside Seowolf’s Notepad. Paste a list once, then dedupe, filter, sort, compare and format it in seconds — every step undoable, nothing uploaded, no account.
