How it works What the Search Intent Classifier does

Labels each keyword as informational, commercial, transactional or navigational from the words it contains (how, best, buy, login…). A quick first pass for sorting a list — not a substitute for checking the SERP.

Adds a search-intent label to every keyword based on the words it contains: informational (how, what, guide), commercial (best, review, vs), transactional (buy, price, cheap, coupon) or navigational (login, official, .com). Keywords with no signal are marked “unclear”.

The label is added after a | or a tab, so you can paste straight into a spreadsheet and sort or filter by intent. It is a fast first pass; check the SERPs for keywords that matter.

3 steps How to use the Search Intent Classifier

FAQ Search Intent Classifier questions

Is Tag Search Intent free to use?

Yes. Tag Search Intent runs entirely in your browser, on this page and in the full Notepad, with no sign-up, no limits, and nothing sent to a server.

How accurate is it?

It reads the words in the keyword, not the search results, so ambiguous keywords come out as “unclear”. Use it to sort, then verify the important ones.

Can I get the tag in its own spreadsheet column?

Yes. Choose the tab separator and the tag lands in a second column when pasted.
