A migration with 400 redirects is an afternoon of error-prone typing. Paste the pairs and copy ready-to-use 301 rules in seconds.
The example below is already loaded, so you can see exactly what you get. Replace it with your own list and the result updates as you type.
↪️ Doing the whole job? Build a redirect map → every fix for it, ticked and in the right orderGot a bigger job? The full Notepad runs the same engine on lists of any size — chain this with dedupe, sort and filter, undo any step, and save the whole routine as a recipe for next time.

Turns old → new URL pairs into 301 redirect rules for .htaccess or nginx, or a CSV. Use lines of “old | new”, or old URLs in the editor and new URLs (same order) in the second list.
Give it one redirect per line as “old | new” (a tab, → or => between the two also works), or put the old URLs in the editor and the new ones in the same order in the second box, and it writes the server rules for you. Choose Apache .htaccess (Redirect 301 lines), nginx (location = … { return 301 … } blocks for your server block) or a plain CSV for a plugin or a CDN rule import.
The old URL is reduced to its path, which is what Apache and nginx match on; the new URL is kept as you wrote it, so it can be relative or point to another domain. Lines from Match Old URLs to New URLs, which add a third score column, are accepted too. Old URLs with a query string get a comment instead of a rule, because Apache’s Redirect directive cannot match query strings.
Yes. Build Redirect Rules runs entirely in your browser, on this page and in the full Notepad, with no sign-up, no limits, and nothing sent to a server.
Yes. Every format produces permanent redirects, which pass link equity and tell search engines to index the new URL.
In the .htaccess file at your site root, above any WordPress or CMS rewrite block, so they run first. Test a few URLs afterwards to check they return 301 to the right place.
